“I am enough” is such an interesting concept. More times than not, I have doubted who I am, what I bring to this world, and I have not believed in myself, thinking that I was a fraud or fake. Have you ever been there? They now have a term for it. Imposter syndrome. A collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evident success. More times than not, others see our success while we downplay what we have contributed to those around us. In fact, as I sat down to write my story, those doubts began to creep in. I began to self-sabotage myself by asking “who really cares what I have to say”? I found all kinds of ways to avoid writing my story. Do you ever notice how you will begin to focus on menial tasks when you are about to do something big? I have one of the cleanest refrigerators on the block!
